Privacy Policy
In short: this website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising. If you write to me through the form, your message is delivered to my mailbox, is used only to reply to you and is never sold.
1. Who I am
This website is run by Ivan Kuvshinov, an individual based in Portugal (“I”, “me”). I am the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question write to ivan@kuvshinov.in.
2. Visiting the website
The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and loads nothing from other websites. Like any web server, my server processes the IP address, the time and the requested address of every visit to deliver the page, and keeps technical access logs for security and troubleshooting.
3. The contact form
If you write to me through the form, I receive what you send: your name, email address, the subject and the message. A message sent through the form also contains the IP address it was sent from, which I use only to protect the form from abuse. The message is delivered to my mailbox by email; the website itself does not store it. I use all this only to reply to you. You are not required to give me your data, but without an email address I cannot reply.
4. Legal bases
Server logs and the protection of the form rely on my legitimate interest in keeping the website working and secure. Replies to your messages rely on my legitimate interest in answering the messages you send me or, if your message is about working together, on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You can object by writing to me.
5. Where the data is stored and who receives it
- My servers. The website and the form run on servers I operate in the European Union, rented from a hosting provider that acts only as my processor. Messages from the form pass through my own mail server in the European Union.
- My mailbox is hosted by an email service provider in Switzerland that acts as my processor. The European Commission recognises Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection.
- I do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else.
6. How long I keep data
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
- Messages you send me — for as long as needed to handle your message, and no longer than two years.
7. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to ivan@kuvshinov.in; I reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Portugal — the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD). I do not make decisions about you by automated means.
8. Security
Connections to the website are encrypted. Access to my servers is restricted to me.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
